Former Premier Junior Golf Tour participant Courtney Battieste hits a tee shot into a par 3 hole at the Cedar Crest Golf Club in Dallas. Courtney went on to win the tournament in a two hole playoff. Courtney Battieste Takes Third at Texas/Oklahoma

We would like to congratulate Courtney Battieste for finishing third place in the girls 14-15 year old age division played in Wichita Falls, Texas on June 22-25. Courtney fired rounds of 88, 79 and 76 in the three day competition, while the 76 on Wednesday was the lowest round of the day of the 14 players competing in her age group. The Texas-Oklahoma Junior Golf Tournament is a family oriented three-four day event that pulls in players from the far reaches of America and even crosses international borders bringing players from Mexico, Canada, South America and more. Each year approximately 350 players converge on Wichita Falls, Texas for a competitive tournament spanning three quality golf courses in the Wichita Falls area.

The 2015 tournament was again hosted at The Champions Course at Weeks Park, Wichita Falls Country Club and River Creek Park Golf Course. Winners from past tournaments have gone on to be professional players on the PGA and LPGA tours. Congratulations Courtney!!
