Jace Boslow Qualifies for Drive, Chip & Putt Sub-Regional

Local junior golfer Jace Boslow recently competed in 7 - 9 year old age division of the local stage of the Drive, Chip & Putt competition held on July 13th at The Tribute Golf Club in The Colony, Texas. The Frisco native qualified to participate in the Sub-Regional compition by scoring a total of 88 points in the three part skills challenge. The Sub-Regional will be held at Watters Creek Golf Club in Plano, Texas on Friday, August 12th.

The Drive, Chip & Putt is the official national golf skills competition open to boys & girls ages 7 to 15, in partnership with The Masters Foundation, PGA of America and USGA.

In an effort to promote interest and participation in the game of golf, the Masters Tournament Foundation, United States Golf Association (USGA) and The PGA of America have joined forces to create the Drive, Chip and Putt Championship, a free, nationwide junior skills competition that will conclude at Augusta National Golf Club in April 2015.
