Courtney Batteiste fired a three over par 39 to win the rain shortened Golf Galaxy Spring Series Golf Championship. Flooding on the front nine holes shortened the tournament as the holes were under water. The tournament was played at the Heritage Ranch Golf Club in Fairview, Texas on May 17th. The invitation only golf tournament was open to the top five point earners in the Medalist Spring Series in the West, East and Metro chapters of the NTPGA. Courtney finished 3rd in the overall points race to qualify, after playing in only eight tournaments. Nearly 60 players participated in the Spring long race to the championship. Congratulations to Courtney for her exciting win!!

"The junior golf tour tournaments are a great way to introduce the beginning golfer and parents to tournaments. They are "no pressure" environments that are fun for the kids and easy for the parents to understand. My son has a great time at these events and constantly looks forward to the next one"
